The Excavation Foreman leads excavation crews and equipment on site, keeping projects safe, on plan, and on schedule. This role runs daily field operations and holds the crew to QNC’s safety and quality standards.
QNC builds custom homes, so the crew experiences something new almost every day. A successful foreman doesn’t continue to do what isn’t working. Instead, they evaluate the situation with the crew, collaborate on solutions, and adjust plans as needed. That starts with a clear plan before the day begins, so the crew shows up ready instead of waiting to be told. It’s how QNC protects a decade of client trust, one job site at a time.
This position emphasizes leadership, planning, coaching, and accountability. QNC needs someone who wants to develop people: who takes time to teach instead of taking over, plans ahead instead of reacting hour to hour, and stops to ask “what else could we try” instead of continuing to do something that isn’t working.
Daily contact: the crew (planning, training, and problem-solving together) and the Construction Manager. Regular contact: other foremen and subcontractors on handoffs. Outside the company: clients on site and inspectors. This person represents QNC in every one of those conversations.
Position Type: Full time
Schedule: Hours: minimum of 45 hours per week (Monday through Friday) Additional hours may be required based on project needs

The Construction Manager leads QNC’s custom home projects from pre-construction through final completion, ensuring every project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the quality standards clients expect. This role serves as the primary connection between clients, field crews, subcontractors, and the office while providing leadership that keeps projects moving forward every day.
QNC builds custom homes, where no two projects are alike. Every client, homesite, and design presents unique opportunities and challenges. A successful Construction Manager thrives in that environment. They don’t wait for problems to grow or hope they resolve themselves. Instead, they anticipate obstacles, communicate early, develop solutions, and keep the entire team moving toward a common goal.
This position emphasizes leadership, planning, accountability, and communication. QNC needs someone who develops people just as intentionally as they build homes—someone who coaches foremen, supports crews, communicates openly with clients, and creates systems that help everyone succeed. The Construction Manager sets the pace for the organization through preparation, consistency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Daily contact: Project Coordinator, foremen, field crews, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff. Regular contact: designers, inspectors, engineers, and trade partners. Every conversation shapes the client experience and reflects the reputation QNC has built over the past decade.
Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: Minimum of 50 hours per week (Monday through Friday) Additional hours, evenings, or weekends may be required based on project needs.

The Project Coordinator keeps QNC’s projects moving by making sure crews have the materials, equipment, information, and support they need before they need it. This role connects the office, vendors, subcontractors, and field crews, helping projects stay organized, efficient, and on schedule.
QNC builds custom homes, so every project has different materials, timelines, and challenges. A successful Project Coordinator stays several steps ahead instead of reacting to problems after they happen. They enjoy creating order from moving pieces, communicating with people, and finding solutions before delays occur.
This position emphasizes planning, organization, communication, and accountability. QNC needs someone who naturally notices details, follows through on commitments, and understands that even small tasks—like ordering materials and tracking permits — have a direct impact on the success of the entire project. Success in this role comes from taking ownership. Rather than waiting to be told what needs done, the Project Coordinator continuously looks ahead, identifies potential issues, and follows every task through to completion.
Daily contact: the Construction Manager, foremen, field crews, vendors, and office staff. Regular contact: subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and delivery personnel.
